Amir Sarhangi

CEO & Co-Founder


Amir is the CEO and a founder of Jibe Mobile. He is responsible for the company’s strategy and product direction, which has placed Jibe Mobile at the forefront of the move towards an ‘all IP’ mobile network. Amir has deep roots in the telecommunications industry and helped to drive the development of the industry’s newest standards, such as GSMA’s joyn. He has over fifteen years of experience in the telecommunication industry. Prior to Jibe Mobile, Amir led the planning and strategy for consumer products and services for Vodafone Japan. His time at Vodafone included the production of over twenty-five terminals per year and managing a budget in excess of $170 million. Amir received a BS in Engineering from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
 

Steve Schroeder

COO & Co-Founder


Steve is the COO and a founder of Jibe Mobile. He oversees day-to-day financial operations, business planning and quality programs. Since the inception of Jibe Mobile, Steve has been in country with Mobile Operator customers in Japan and various parts of Europe, to ensure the success of Jibe Platform trials and commercial rollouts. Steve has fifteen years of professional experience in business operations, finance, management consulting, product management, and software development with companies and clients such as Deloitte Consulting, Vodafone, Ingram Micro, Pacific Bell and high technology startups. Steve received a BS in Computer Science from TCU and an MBA from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA.
 

Elmar Weber

CTO


Elmar is the CTO of Jibe Mobile. At Jibe, he is responsible for the technology strategy, end-to-end platform, and mobile product development of the company. Elmar has over ten years of experience in the telecommunications and software industries building and deploying solutions in Europe, Japan and the United States. He has extensive experience with building large, distributed development teams from the ground up, both in start-up companies and large corporations. Prior to Jibe Mobile, Elmar worked for Vodafone, where he held several management and technology leadership roles creating new services, mobile applications, and building platform capabilities that were deployed across the Vodafone footprint. Elmar is a contributor to the Java Community Process where he contributed to the definition of new standards for Java APIs for mobile devices. Elmar holds a Master’s degree from the University of Cambridge, where he studied Electrical & Information Sciences.
 

Jason Choy

Senior VP, EMEA


Jason is the Senior VP of Jibe Mobile for EMEA. In his role, he is responsible for the company’s business development in the region, which includes forming new partnerships and ensuring high-quality service to existing partners. Jason brings a successful history of establishing market-leading solutions for global telecom software companies including IMG, SNAPin Software and Nuance Communications, and has previously launched innovative products with Tier 1 Mobile Operators and Telco’s worldwide such as Vodafone Group, Verizon, O2, British Telecom, KPN, Telenor, Telecom Italia, Microsoft, and the British Broadcasting Corporation.
 

Todd Parker

VP Sales & Business Development, Americas


Todd is Vice President Business Development and Sales for the Americas. He brings over 25 years of experience in the mobile sector with more than a decade leading wireless carriers, such as Vodafone, Verizon, AirTouch, PCS Prime Co and PacTel. Todd held various management positions including Managing Director of M&A for AirTouch Corporate and VP of Sales and Marketing for AirTouch Messaging. Prior to Jibe, Todd founded Hidden River Ventures, which makes investments in mobile start-ups with an emphasis in messaging, advertising, marketing and applications. Todd was also the Founder and CEO of HR One, Inc., a SaaS delivered software provider. The company raised $12 million and grew to 50 employees before being sold to Sage Software. Todd received a B.S. with a double major in Communications and Entrepreneurship from Babson College. He earned a Wireless Engineering Certificate from the University of California Berkeley Extension and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
 

Hieu Ta

VP, Engineering


Hieu is the VP of Engineering at Jibe Mobile. Hieu leads the company’s engineering activities. With his team, he manages a collaborative effort in creating applications to revolutionize the mobile experience. Since graduating from UC Berkeley, he has been involved in the development of new Internet technologies. His experience spans from early startups such as Excite@Home, to working with global telecommunications operators such as Vodafone.
 

Don Steul

VP Delivery


Don is the VP of Delivery at Jibe Mobile, responsible for the deployment and ongoing success of Jibe’s products and services with carriers around the world. Don brings more than 20 years of experience in software, having led functions such as product management, user interface design, SaaS operations, software development and professional services. Prior to Jibe Mobile, Don was Chief Product Officer at Apptera, providing voice self-service solutions and ad technology to customers such as AOL Moviefone, Fandango, Bank of America and Citibank and launching Raved, a business recommendation app for mobile & Web. Before that, Don held leadership positions at Genesys Telecommunications and Accenture. Don has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and an MS in Materials Science from M.I.T.
 

Dan Seyer

VP Marketing


Dan is the VP Marketing and heads global marketing for Jibe. He joined in 2011 to lead the transformation of Jibe as a platform company – creating the consumer, developer and carrier ecosystem for Jibe. He’s spent his career focusing on bringing new innovative disruptions to market. Prior, he was the VP of Product Management for Ribbit, “Silicon Valley’s First Phone Company” where he lead the product direction to bring together old world telecom with the software model of the Internet. Ribbit was sold to the largest phone company in the UK, BT, in 2008. Prior to Ribbit, Dan held management positions at NBC/General Electric, Media.net, Tello, WiLine and Deloitte & Touche. High technology, telecom and media consulting clients include Microsoft, SBC (now AT&T), Sprint, US West (now CenturyLink), Airtouch (now Verizon Wireless), and XO. Dan received a BS in Engineering from California Polytechnic University and an MBA from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA.
